Workshop Plans: What's Coming Up In May

Oh, hey there! Want to have a laugh and learn something awesome, well check out our upcoming workshops for May!

Our first May workshop is Instagram For Business (Beginners) on Wednesday 9th, if you're a new business, or new to Instagram, then this is the one for you! Learn how to post on your feed and stories, how and why to convert to a business account, how to create & curate content, and curation versus real life.

Topics for discussion will also include the best times to post, how to hashtag, how to network & grow your account, how to convert followers into sales, why videos are important, and how to include yourself in your posts. So a whirlwind tour of Instagram and how best to start using it for your business.

This workshop will be taught by the multi-business owner Tamara Green, who has been a business owner for over twenty years, and now with a successful online business using Instagram to grow her brands, click here to book.

Our next May workshop is Weaving For Beginners, this is on Thursday 24th May and will be taught by Lorna from Lesser Than Three.

Learn how to make Pinterest-worthy weaves, these look amazing as wall hangings in your lounge, dining room, bedroom or hallway, but also make the perfect wedding decoration. You can use different textures and colours to accent your themes in your home (or wedding), and personally remind me of making something similar back in primary school (shout out to Mrs Gerlach!), so its a lovely, feel-good thing to do.

Lorna has hand made looms for everyone, and all materials are included. You'll learn the basics of weaving, and begin your very own weave to take home & complete. Beaut! (Click to book).

And finally, (in our best news voice), we have a Social Media Workshop on Thursday 31st. The class is aimed at small businesses that have a good basic following, but are looking to grow and expand on Instagram & Facebook.

On this workshop you'll learn lots of tips and tricks to grow your brand, beat the algorithms, and increase your local traffic. Its an interactive workshop so you'll learn by doing, which is always a winner in my eyes!

It'll be taught by Jarrod Burke, owner of Randalls, an American confectionery specialist with three shops locally. He's a bit of a whizz at social media, and will help you learn how to take your brand to the next level. Click to book!

So we've got lots to keep you amused in May, and have even more workshops in the planning for June, so watch out for more details on those bad boys.

Enjoy the sun peeps!

Jodie xx
